***By booking an appointment, I agree to all of JPstylz's Terms & Conditions.

***You are responsible for reading the following:

DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

In the event of inclement weather, deposits will be credited towards a new appointment rescheduled within 30 days of the initial appointment. Should the client choose not to reschedule within the allotted 30-day period, their deposit will be forfeited.  

CASH PAYMENT IS PREFERRED. Please bring exact change.

Other forms of payment accepted are credit/debit, PayPal, Zelle,.

COVID-19
Due to COVID-19, we are taking the following precautions until further notice:
- NO EXTRA GUESTS. Please do not bring anyone with you to your appointment. No kids allowed.
- If you are feeling sick, with ANYTHING, PLEASE stay home and reschedule your appointment. In this case, if you paid a deposit, it will be transferable to your rescheduled appointment.
- IF I notice any symptoms of any sickness, I will stop what I am doing and you will be asked to leave. Should this be the case and a deposit was paid, you will NOT receive a refund and it will not be transferable.
- If you arrive early to your appointment, please text me. If there is a client still in my chair, you will be asked to please wait in your car as the lobby will be closed to our guest in order to practice social distancing.

General:

  • As a licensed professional, JPstylz will not compromise the integrity of the client's hair.

  • If there is a style that JPstylz deems will result in trauma to the hair, As a licensed cosmetologist, JPstylz has the right to refuse services.

  • Consultations are vital to ensure client and stylist have a mutual understanding of the services being performed.

  • At any point of service, if the professional feels that the style will compromise the client's hair, client and stylist will mutually agree on an effective way to alter the service.

  • If mid service, client feels they would like something altered, speak up!

  • Please be advised, as a cosmetologist, JPstylz is an artist. Pictures serve as inspiration only.

  • Refunds are not issued if style does not directly duplicate the photo.

  • LAST MINUTE (same/next day) & AFTER HOUR (6am-8:45am & 3:30pm-9pm) APPOINTMENTS can only be booked through text or Instagram DM. 

  • Last minute and after hour appointments will be an additional 25% to the service being provided.

  • Wash and deep conditioning treatments are included with all services.

  • An optional trim is included with all services except braid services.

  • Hair must be at least 3 inches long when stretched.

  • Services are NOT rendered for children under the age of 15.

  • There is a STRICT 10 minute GRACE PERIOD.

  • It is urged that you communicate with your stylist if you are running late so that the proper arrangements can be made.

  • If you are more than 10mins late, a $15 late fee will be applied to your service.

  • After 11 minutes, with no communication, your appointment will be CANCELLED.

  • Should you be running late, please be considerate. Please text me at least 45mins before your scheduled appointment time.

  • If you are a NO CALL/NO SHOW,  you will receive a full service charge & I will be forced to drop you as a client.

  • Services over $100 require a non-refundable/non-transferable retainer which will be applied to your service.

  • NO CHILDREN OR EXTRA GUESTS ALLOWED IN THE STUDIO.

  • Your photo may be taken for marketing purposes. If you choose not to have your photo taken, simply decline when asked.

Hair Extension Services:

  • If you've ordered JayLuxe items, Please visit our FAQ page & read thoroughly.

  • JPstylz DOES NOT work over other stylists work.

  • All lace services are installed using lace glue and the bald cap method. (optional for closures)

  • The lace glue currently being used for installs is "Hold Me Down" by Ericka J.

  • For lace services, please drop off your lace at least 2 days before your appointment for customization, as plucking & bleaching take about an hour in itself.

  • Crimps and wand curls add an additional $25 to your service.

  • To have your extensions colored is an additional $75-$100. Hair must be dropped off a week prior to appointment.

  • Please consult with me before tampering with or removing your weave (especially lace installs), if you are not sure what to do.

  • I am not responsible for any damages done to your hair or extensions after you've left my chair.

  • HAIR MUST BE AT LEAST 3 INCHES LONG WHEN STRETCHED.
